## Description
The QC Manager ensures strict adherence to the latest version of all Department of Defense publications, contract requirements, manufacturer's directives, company policies and procedures, program Quality Control Manual and the Industrial/ Aviation Ground Safety affecting quality and personnel/equipment safety issues. Responsible for drafting, publishing and up-keep of Maintenance/Work Instructions and conformance to Navy, Commercial and AS9100C standards. Responsible for the training, leadership and management of personnel assigned to the Quality Control Division.
## Qualifications
Experience Requirements: 5 years aircraft maintenance experience, with 3 of those years in a supervisory capacity FAA Airframes and Power Plants License (A&P;) preferred or documented aircraft hands-on/senior supervisory history in the military, or a commercial aviation operation Education/Training Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field; high school diploma or Associate's degree and 15 years experience may substitute for Bachelor's degree Formal or Specialized Training or Equivalent Hazardous Waste Communications AS9100C Program Awareness FOD and TCP Awareness Operational Risk Management, Anti-Terrorism, and Security/Safety Training Security Clearance Awareness Certification/Re-certification Requirements: Safe for Flight Certification, Weight and Balance, valid state driver's license required. FAA A&P; Certificate desired. Responsibility Level: Responsible for the direct supervision of up to 12 employees and indirect supervision of up to 12 employees Other Key Qualification Requirements: In-Depth knowledge of the AS9100C Quality System Standards Extensive working knowledge of aircraft maintenance and flight operations gained through broad management experience in the oversight and management of aviation programs The necessary leadership and management skills to direct Quality Control personnel to comply with established policies, procedures, and operations In-depth knowledge of contractual programs, company organization, policies and procedures Computer literacy and the ability to communicate accurately and concisely in English, both orally and in writing Must meet any other qualification standards imposed by the government contract not covered by this agreement L-3 Vertex is an equal opportunity employer. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
