Penske Logistics is looking for qualified CDL Class A truck drivers to become part of an excellent team and to fill a number of available truck driver jobs. This is a great opportunity to continue your truck driving career with one of the nation's largest logistics companies.

Route/Activity
- Truck drivers are responsible for delivering product to customers. Complete vendor backhauls as directed. This is an over the road position with an expected 10 - 14 days out. Drivers do no load. This a 90% no touch freight operation. Lumpers will be authorized when needed.

- This is an over the road position. Drivers are expected to be out 10 - 14 days

- 48' Reefer Trailers

Compensation
- Activity Base Pay. Penske prides itself on assuring our drivers are paid weekly. Drivers will average $60,000.00 per year.

Responsibilities:
-Loading, unloading, or assisting in loading and unloading truck.
-Maintain driver logs according to I.C.C regulations.
-Compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous truck driver training and customer service.
-Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
-Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles before and after route.

-At least 23 years of age required
-Current and valid CDL Class A required
-2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 5 years required
-2 years DMV/MVR record with 2 or less moving violations
-High School Diploma or equivalent required
-Driving school and or safety certifications preferred
-Dealing with people skills, reliable and customer oriented, and ability to work independently required
-Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments required
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
