In person Duties:
Responsible for the overall development, management, and performance of the Laboratory department within and in accordance with all policies and philosophies of the institution, JCAHO and any other accrediting body, which involves planning, coordinating, and administering all departmental programs.
Skills:
Three to five years supervisory/management experience required.
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Computer skills with proficiencies in Microsoft Office Applications preferred.
Education:
Master of Science or equivalent in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry plus 2 years' experience or sub sim pos; or Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry plus 5 years' experience or sub sim pos.
Registered as a Medical Technologist with American Society of Clinical Pathology as M or MT or equivalent required.
